On July 9th, 2025, the M/V Sarah-Sarah set out on an 8,000 plus mile journey from Portland, Maine - through the Arctic - and arrived in Anacortes, Washington on September 21st. This is the story of that passage.
The M/V Sarah-Sarah has completed the journey from Portland to Anacortes and the crew is currently planning our next adventure. Fewer than 300 vessels have completed the transit since the passage was discovered in 1906. Follow Sarah-Sarah and her crew as they take the trip of a lifetime, telling stories and capturing images along the way.
